30 STUDENTS FROM STADIUM HIGH SCHOOL HELP PLANT OVER  3OO TREES IN JULIA'S GULCH

At the February 9, 2013 work party about 30 students from Stadium High School turned up at 9 AM at the Gulch to help put over 300 conifers into the soil. The students represented the Honor Society, JROTC and the Key Club. Their enthusiasm made the hard work of digging holes in compacted soil almost enjoyable! Jennifer Chang, our amazing  ForTerra leader demonstrated  the correct way to plant the bare root seedlings before we all paired up and spread ourselves over the slope designated as our planting site for the day. These trees were the result of a mitigation from the Mariners to off set the large carbon footprint they make flying around the country. Thank you Stadium students. You're the greatest!
