Join us on Saturday, MAY 14, 2016 from 9 until noon as we spread gravel on the trail and continue to  dig out the roots of the Himalayan Blackberry.  All this is satisfying work as we change a gravel pit into the beginnings of a forest!   Park at View Park (see map on this website). We will meet and sign in at the picnic table under the Big Leaf Maples. If you have a favorite digging tool bring it along though we do have tools to share. Wear sturdy foot wear and garden gloves.  Dress for the weather.  See you there! .....and bring a friend.

Sometimes we receive plants that are "bare roots" and we need to keep them alive until we can plant them. These 2 photos show what we do when caught in that dilemma. The bare roots are buried (or heeled) in the soil.
